The White Family | Gender Reveal | Event Portraits
A few weeks ago we had the the opportunity to photograph the Gender Revel Party of one of the sweetest families that we know. Brandon and Adrienne have two beautiful daughters, and were highly anticipating finding out the gender of this wonderful new addition. Both were hoping for a boy (What dad doesnt want a son to carry on the family name?) and the moment that they cut this cake and found out what was coming their way, was one of the most emotional that we have had the honor of being a part of. Brian's Holiday Mini Session | Infants and Children | Portraits
We are so excited to feature Mr. Brian's mini session today. After having an unfortunate experience with another photographer, Stephanie never received any of her First Christmas photos of Brian. As a parents I would have been completely devastated so we decided to redo them! This little man has been through so much and it was so amazing to see him growing and thriving and becoming such the handsome man. Enjoy our favorites from this holiday themed mini session...

Oh Malachi | Eleven Months | Personal
My little buddy,
Eleven Months has been a big month for you. The way you have grown and changed has been amazing to watch. Every single day is a new discovery and a new journey for you to take. You are growing so beautifully and we are honored that you are our little man. We wouldnt want any other little man.
You are quickly approaching 31in. And you weight upwards of 23 lbs. You are all muscle and so stinking strong. You still have a torso for days and short stubby legs with just the right amount of rolls that make my heart so happy. You are quickly moving into all 18 month clothing, but your jeans are still 12 months, because again, short legs haha. You are still rocking size 4 diapers and we are now in size 4 shoes. You love being naked, and you are all about footy pjs. I think you can move the easiest in them, but sadly, we must get dressed from time to time haha. You are growing so nicely little buddy.
You are all about solids this month. We have slowly been transitioning to an all solid food diet. You love you some carbs, you're so my kid haha. You love most fruits, and you will eat the most random veggies haha. You love cauliflower and green beans but dont want much to do with baked potatoes, white or sweet. Weirdo. You love grilled cheese and cheese quesadillas. Mac and cheese is also a win (and its organic which is even more awesome that you love it). You love spaghetti and, let me tell you, your spaghetti face is my favorite of all the spaghetti faces. You also love your organic snack foods. Little fruit snacks, cereal bars, puffs, yogi bites, teether cookies. You will eat them all. We still do the beechnut pouches to make sure we are getting enough fruits and veggies in you, and you are still completely in love with them. The biggest change this month though is the switch from formula to almond milk! We werent able to get you to drink the formula at all for almost a week straight and so after a conversation with your pediatrician's office, we were told to go ahead and make the switch! And oh my goodness do you love it. We dont do cows milk for anything around here so we figured it was best to go ahead and just start you with almond milk since thats what we wanted you drinking anyways!! It agrees with your belly great and you have really taken to it! We are still at half of what you will eventually be drinking in a day but you are quickly getting ready for the second serving!!
Your personality has exploded this month!! You are so funny and so expressive! You can't hide anything with that little face. Your eyes give you away and you make the best faces. Your smile has gotten bigger and with the addition of your two front teeth it is so much cuter and I didnt even think that was possible! You play peekaboo with yourself haha and its so stinking cute. You will sit and cover your face and pull the blanket off for minutes on end without anyone playing back. You just entertain yourself haha!!
You love to play, now more than ever. You just run from one side of the room to the other and play with everything in between. You are all about books and will pick one out and walk it over to one of us, put it in our hand and sit and listen to the entire story, all while turning the pages yourself. You love dinosaurs and you really love building blocks. You have even started to stack them up yourself to knock over. You still love music, more than anything else, and your collection of dance moves is constantly growing haha. You shake your butt, do the down low bounce, the up high bounce and the hand shake. You also clap to music when you hear it. You are so freaking cute.
You're favorite toy this month is your stuffed Olaf that you got for Christmas. You carry him across the room by his little hairs and you even sit and snuggle with him occasionally. You still love Duffy and your small Mickey Mouse that goes pretty much everywhere with you. You love to play ball and will even sit and roll it from yourself over to us and catch it when it comes back to you. Smart. You are so stinking smart.
You love Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, still haha, and you also have really taken to Jake and Neverland Pirates. You absolutely adore Frozen, Ive seen it so many times haha, and you also really love Doc Mcstuffins. Anything on Sprout is a win and we are all about the Goodnight Show with Nina and Star. I know it sounds like all you do is watch TV but that is most certainly not the case haha. There is a lot of playing that happens around here.
You say Hi, hey, yeah, yah, mumum, mum, dad, dada, daddy, and part of dog, boat and duck. I dont think you have connected the multiple sounds in one word yet. But you are getting there. You know what they are though and make connection from each word to the actual object which is awesome. but even though you dont have a huge vocabulary yet, you talk nonstop. You also know how to scream haha and growl. You also say "cheese" for the camera which might be the cutest of all your new tricks. You are all about smiling for a picture :) Which as your photographer parents, we are completely in love with. However, getting you to hold still long enough for a picture is the hard part haha!!
You have quite the temper this month, as you are learning what you like and dont like and that you can somewhat control the outcomes. You know what No means and you are learning to be gentle and nice, especially around other babies. You do great with older kids, and Im not sure why that is, but we are working really hard to teach you what is right and what is wrong. The only time you are around other kids really is in the church nursery, so maybe you are picking things up there. Im not sure. But you really are just the sweetest. You will learn and you will grow beautifully. Because we love you, and with God's grace, we will teach you to be gentle and kind.

So much has happened since we brought you home and this next year is going to hold even bigger adventures. We have so many exciting things planned for you buddy. Some that I cannot wait to share. Your birthday outfit came in the mail yesterday and oh my goodness kid, the cuteness that you will be. Next months pictures might just be my favorite of all time.
Its so easy to forget what your sweet newborn details looked like, looking back now. You were so tiny and fragile. As you get bigger, because your so advanced, its easy for people to forget that you are just a baby, so sweet and so gentle. You are still learning and growing and becoming your own little person. You still want to be held, and taken care of. You still have those sweetest little details about you. So this month. I took a minute and I appreciated your gentleness and your sweetness and the little details of you. Because all too soon those little details will be gone, and I will hang on these memories and this photos. Because who you are right now is who I will always see you as. You are my precious, sweet baby boy. Im holding on to every detail of you.
We want to teach you to dream, little one. And to dream big. We want to show you how to be brave and to face this world with confidence and joy and a desire to see the good in everyone. We want you to be whatever it is that you want to be. You are the greatest joy of this world and we want you to always know that. You are such a beautiful, good soul and we want to show you that the world can never take that from you. Each day that we live is such a gift and with that gift we want you to always know that you can do or be anything that you want to be. No dream is too small. Being brave is what makes your life worth living and seeing the adventures in this world is a beautiful thing. We will follow you wherever you want to go and we will show you everything you ask to see. You are our greatest adventure, Malachi.
Malachi you are just a little ray of sunshine in our lives. The more that you grow, the more that I am amazed that God was gracious enough to give me you. You make everyday seem so bright and so joyful and you make every single day that I live worth it. You love Jesus, and for such a young age, his presence is your very favorite place to be. You know the difference and for that I will always be grateful. You were born with such a call and such a purpose and I am just in awe of who you are. I cannot wait to watch you grow and experience new and beautiful things. Your joy is contagious and for that I will aways be grateful. When you were in my belly, I used to talk with God and I prayed that you would be a joyful baby. One that just enjoyed everything as it comes. One that laughs and plays and just makes every single person that comes in contact with you, smile. And that is exactly who you are. It is an honor to be your mama Malachi. And I will continue to help you grow and change and become who it is that God has called you to be because I have never loved another the way that I love you.
